A wide, shallow fabric planter for a kitchen-door herb garden. It's 45cm across and 25cm deep and holds 40 litres of compost, enough room for parsley, chives, thyme and basil together in one pot.
It's made from Vigoroot fabric, which air-prunes roots: when a root reaches the side it stops, and the plant makes more fine roots instead of going pot-bound. That means strong, bushy herbs in less compost than a solid pot would need. Reinforced handles let you move it about, and it folds flat at the end of the season. A growing guide comes in the pack.
Like any fabric pot it dries out faster than plastic in summer, so water more often in hot spells. It's light enough to move to a sunnier spot once planted, as long as you lift it by both handles.
