Shipping Policy

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 working days of receiving them. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Orders placed over the weekend or on a bank holiday will begin processing the next working day.

During particularly busy periods — such as spring sowing season or around Christmas — dispatch times may occasionally extend slightly. We will always communicate any significant delays.


Shipping Services

We ship all orders via Royal Mail, using one of two tracked services:

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number, which you can use at royalmail.com to follow your parcel's progress.

Please note that delivery timescales are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Bishy Barnabee's Cottage Garden cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or circumstances outside our control.


Shipping Rates

Our shipping rates are based on Royal Mail's current published rates and are calculated at checkout based on the service selected and the weight of your order.

Free Shipping

Free standard shipping is available on all orders over £30, automatically applied at checkout.

Please note that free shipping applies to orders placed directly through bishybarnabeescottagegarden.com only. Orders made through our Collective Partners — currently including LV Bespoke, Dandy's, Ladybird Plant Care and Natural Grower, as well as any future partners we may add to the collective — are not eligible for free shipping and will be charged at the standard rate applicable to that order. Shipping terms for Collective Partner orders may differ and will be communicated clearly at the point of purchase.


Where We Ship To

We ship to all UK addresses, including:

  • England, Scotland and Wales
  • Northern Ireland
  • Scottish Highlands and Islands
  • Channel Islands and Isle of Man

Please be aware that deliveries to some remote areas — including parts of the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands — may take a little longer than the standard estimated timescales, in line with Royal Mail's delivery schedules for these regions.

We currently ship within the UK only and are unable to accept international orders at this time.


What We Ship

We ship seeds, dried flowers and garden gifts. All of our products are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Seeds are packed in their sealed packets and placed inside protective envelopes or boxes as appropriate. Dried flowers and gift items are wrapped securely to prevent damage in transit.

If you have any concerns about the condition of your order on arrival, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to put things right. We may ask for a photograph of any damaged items to help us improve our packaging.


Tracking Your Order

All orders are sent with full Royal Mail tracking. Your tracking number will be emailed to you at the point of dispatch. If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within 3 working days of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder before getting in touch — our emails occasionally end up there.

You can track your parcel at any time at royalmail.com/track-your-item.


Lost or Missing Parcels

Royal Mail considers a parcel lost if it has not arrived within 10 working days of the expected delivery date (15 working days for remote areas). If your parcel has not arrived within this timeframe, please contact us at info@bishybarnabeescottagegarden.com and we will raise an investigation with Royal Mail on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
