Three little steel scenes on legs, made to push into the soil and stand among the planting. There are two rabbits in a patch of wildflowers with butterflies overhead, a fairy blowing a dandelion clock, and a frog sat on a lily pad. The cut-out detail reads best with green behind it, so they work well at the front of a border or at the edge of a pond where foliage fills in the gaps.
Each design comes in three sizes, measured across the widest point of the scene. The 450mm is a small accent to tuck in beside a path. The 750mm holds its own in a full summer border, and at around 4.5kg it stays put in the wind.
They're mild steel supplied raw, so they arrive silvery grey and turn a warm rust brown after a few weeks outside. That's the intended finish and needs no treatment. While the rust is forming it can mark pale stone, so keep them off light paving. Designed in Norfolk by LV Bespoke and made in Britain.
