The Spring Seed Sowing Flower Box
10 hand-picked seed varieties
As winter fades and the days lengthen, the urge to get growing becomes irresistible. Ten gorgeous varieties perfect for spring sowing — a complete garden in a box that blooms from mid-summer right through to the first frosts, filling borders and vases with armfuls of flowers at a fraction of the cost of buying plants.
From the architectural spires of Salvia to the delicate lace of Didiscus, this collection provides everything needed to create a stunning cut flower garden from scratch.
Sowing Guide
Hardy Annuals — Bupleurum and Linaria — can be sown directly into the soil outdoors from March or April; they are tough enough to handle cool spring nights. Half-Hardy Annuals — Cosmos, Rudbeckia, and Didiscus — love warmth; start indoors on a windowsill in March or April and plant out in June once the frosts have passed. Full instructions are printed on every packet.
