The Sugar Rush pepper is a very sweet pepper with citrus tones. The Sugar Rush Peach Chilli boasts a level of heat comparable to habanero peppers, making it one of a kind among its peach-hued Aji relatives. It is believed to have originated from a red Aji type called Sugar Rush grown by a Welsh chilli cultivator by the name of Chris. Upon noting the sweeter taste of its peach-coloured counterparts, Chris successfully stabilised the peach variety to its current state.
Similar to Aji Amarillo but much sweeter and that’s why it’s called Sugar Rush!

Pod Description
The pods are cylindrical in shape with a slightly ridged exterior that narrows at the ends. They start off as a faint lime green and ripen to become a vibrant peachy hue. The sugar content must be sampled to believe, as it is notably sweet and juicy, the sweetest of its kind. A subtle, citrusy finish completes the experience of sampling a ripe peach.

I already have baby craspedia seedlings and can't wait to see them grow. I bought a couple of craspedia plants last year and they produce the most lovely yellow pom poms. They look great dotted in three's around the house and I also use them when I make dried wreaths.
