Product Details
I love Rudbeckia, I joined the Rudbeckia party quite late for some reason, never quite noticing their beauty, until a few years ago. But now that I do I’m making up for lost time and wouldn’t want a garden without them.
They are so hard-working, flowering from summer through to autumn and producing fabulous, large flowers to bring colour to the garden for months.
These ones are vaguely retro; with stunning, autumn colours for the petals and a darker centre, reminding me slightly of 1970s style curtains….which I realise might not be a selling point for everyone but it is for me!
Regularly deadhead or cut for the house to extend the flowering season.
Plant Care Tips
Sow under cover in April or May, using seed compost and keep at 20 degrees
Only lightly cover the seed as they need light to germinate and keep moist
Pot on, harden off and plant outside once all risk of frost has passed
Prefers moist well-drained soil and full sun
Space 30cm between plants
