A single glass marble on top of a slim steel stem. There are 27 marble colours to choose from, from Ice and Soap Bubble to Van Gogh and Supernova, and three heights: 500mm, 1000mm or 1350mm.
The medium and tall stems sway in the breeze, so the marble moves and catches the light as it goes. They look best planted as a group at different heights, poking up through a border in a mix of colours. The short stem also works indoors, pushed into a large houseplant pot, where it doubles as a support for a leaning stem. Buy a few in colours that pick up the flowers around them.
Keep them out of full sun. A glass sphere can focus sunlight like a magnifying glass, so site them in dappled or part shade and away from dry grasses, fence panels and sheds. The stem is mild steel and will rust to a warm brown; the marble won't change. Designed in Norfolk by LV Bespoke and made in Britain.
