Six animals drawn in clean, straight geometric lines: a gorilla, a hedgehog, an owl, a lion, a rooster and a giraffe. They're more modern than most of what we stock, and they need a plain background to read well. Rendered walls, brickwork and painted fences all work.
Because the design is open linework, the wall behind shows through and becomes part of the picture. One animal on its own makes a simple statement, and a matching pair either side of a door or gate looks deliberate and smart. The hedgehog and owl are the gentlest choices for a cottage garden; the gorilla and lion are for anyone who wants something bolder.
They're cut from mild steel and supplied raw, so they start out silvery grey and weather to a warm rust brown within a few weeks outside. The rust is the finish and needs no painting or sealing, but while it settles it can streak pale render or stone underneath. Each piece has pre-drilled holes; screws aren't included so you can choose fixings to suit your wall. Designed in Norfolk by LV Bespoke and made in Britain.
