Candle Size
'Wild Fig & Cassis' is a timeless, sophisticated fragrance that captures the essence of the Mediterranean. It balances the luscious, juicy sweetness of ripe wild figs and tart cassis (blackcurrants) with a grounding base of warm woods and amber.
This is not a sugary fruit scent; it is earthy, green, and complex. Enhanced by a sustainable wooden wick, this candle creates a multi-sensory experience. As the flame dances, the wick gently crackles like dry twigs underfoot in a warm forest, filling your home with an atmosphere of relaxed, rustic luxury.
Cassis, Cherry, and Fresh Grass
The first impression: sharp, leafy green freshness and tart berries.
Wild Fig, Hyacinth, and Cyclamen
The heart: a milky, sweet warmth of ripening fruit and soft florals.
Patchouli, Cedarwood, Amber, and Musk
The lingering trail: earthy, woody, and deeply comforting.
The first burn
Light across the full width of the wick and burn for 2–3 hours until the melt pool reaches the glass edges. This prevents tunnelling — the most common cause of wasted wax on the sides of the jar.
Trim before every burn
Ensure the wick is no longer than 3–4mm before re-lighting. Once the wax is cold, pinch or snap off the charred wood. A short, clean wick gives the best crackle and prevents soot.
Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Place on a heat-resistant surface, keep away from draughts and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
