The fragrance

How it unfolds in a room

  1. Top Lavender, Cinnamon, and FloralsThe first impression: a touch of aromatic freshness and light spice to lift the deep, heavy base.
  2. Heart Myrrh, Cypriol, and HeliotropeThe heart: deep, resinous, and slightly smoky, providing an air of ancient luxury.
  3. Base Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Amber, and Guaiac WoodThe lingering trail: sweet, nutty, almond-like, and incredibly long-lasting.

About this scent

If you want the house to smell expensive, this is the one. It opens with an aromatic freshness of lavender, melts into a heart of warm resinous myrrh, and finishes sweet and creamy on tonka bean and vanilla.

The effect is close to wrapping yourself in a cashmere blanket, which makes it a candle for dark evenings, dinner parties, and the days that call for being indulged rather than cheered up. The wick is FSC-certified wood rather than cotton, so it crackles gently as it burns. In a low-lit room the crackle reads as a fire in a lodge.

Hand-poured in our Norfolk studio using 100% natural soy wax. Available in two sizes.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and anything that could catch, burn it on a heat-resistant surface, and trim the wooden wick to about 5mm before each light.

The Yin & Yang. Use the zesty Lemongrass & Ginger during the day to energise your space, then light Myrrh & Tonka in the evening to settle into a rich, comforting atmosphere.

The Ultimate Luxury. If you love deep, complex scents, burning these in adjacent rooms creates a seamless transition from floral elegance to creamy, resinous warmth.
