Five laser-cut steel characters for the run-up to Halloween: a bat in flight, a black cat with her wand raised, a friendly ghost, a grinning carved pumpkin and a witch on her broomstick. Each one is cut from a single sheet of steel and welded to a ground stake, so there's nothing to assemble. Push it into a border, a lawn or a big pot by the front door.
They stand 800mm tall and 150mm wide, including the stake. One on its own is a small nod to the season. Three or five together along a path look much better, and odd numbers sit more naturally than pairs.
They arrive bright silver and, being raw steel, start to rust once they've had some rain on them. By the end of October the orange-brown suits a pumpkin and a witch rather well. Bring them in after Halloween and put them back out next year, or leave them out all winter if you like the look. Laser cut and hand welded in Norfolk by LV Bespoke.
