About this product
Full description
A 4g bag of real dried flower petals — grown, dried, and packed at our Norfolk farm. Perfect for wedding confetti, resin art, soap making, candles, and craft projects
Our Dried Flower Petals are 100% natural, air-dried, and completely biodegradable — no dyes, no chemicals, no plastics. At 4g per bag, each pouch holds roughly one generous handful of petals: the perfect portion for a single wedding guest's confetti toss, a resin art project, or a batch of hand-poured candles. Choose from five colour palettes to match your wedding scheme, project, or mood.
🌸 Choose Your Colour
Each 4g bag is a colour-themed selection of our real dried flower petals. The exact mix within each colour varies with the season and what we have growing, but you can expect a beautifully cohesive palette in every bag:
- White — soft, timeless, and elegant. Perfect for classic weddings and light-toned craft projects
- Yellow / Orange — sunshine and warmth from calendula and marigold-toned petals. Ideal for summer weddings and cheerful bright crafts
- Blue — the beautiful electric blue of cornflowers and delphinium blues. A signature Bishy palette, and utterly captivating in resin
- Dark Pink / Red — rich, romantic tones from deep-hued cottage flowers. Perfect for autumn weddings and moody craft projects
- Burgundy / Black — the deepest, most dramatic palette; sophisticated for autumn/winter weddings, dark craft aesthetics, and gothic-inspired projects
Because these are real cottage garden flowers grown at Salle Moor Hall Farm, exact varieties and shades vary with the season. Typical flowers include cornflowers, calendula, delphinium, larkspur, and various other cottage garden favourites.
💐 Perfect for Weddings
4g is the ideal portion for a single guest's handful of confetti — light, generous, and photograph-friendly. For a full wedding, multiply the number of guests: 30 guests = 30 bags. Or mix palettes for a more romantic, cottage-garden look. Because they're 100% biodegradable and dye-free, our petals are:
- Venue-approved — churches, country houses, and outdoor venues all welcome biodegradable confetti (unlike traditional paper or plastic)
- Photograph-friendly — the vibrant natural colours photograph beautifully against wedding attire and outdoor backdrops
- Eco-friendly — no cleanup issues; petals compost naturally
- Guest-friendly — safe to handle and use for all ages
- Colour-coordinated — choose a single palette or blend multiple for your scheme
🎨 Perfect for Craft Projects
4g goes further than you might expect — dried petals are incredibly light and cover a surprising area:
- Resin art — embed petals in resin coasters, jewellery, paperweights, or bookmarks for stunning natural inclusions. The Blue and White palettes are particularly striking under resin
- Wax melts and candles — sprinkle petals on top before the wax sets for a beautiful botanical finish. Pairs beautifully with our own candle and wax melt range
- Soap making — add texture, colour, and a natural aesthetic to hand-poured or melt-and-pour soap bars
- Card making and scrapbooking — three-dimensional floral elements for wedding invitations, thank-you cards, and memory keepsakes
- Bath salts and bath bombs — add petals to bath salt blends or press into bath bombs for a luxurious finish
- Potpourri — use as a base for handmade potpourri, or add to existing blends for colour
- Christmas decorations — the Burgundy/Black palette works beautifully in wreaths, ornaments, and festive crafts
- Photography props — sprinkle for still-life photography, flat-lay compositions, or product shots
- Gift wrapping — a pinch of petals in tissue paper or a gift bag adds a magical botanical touch
- Table decoration — scatter petals along wedding tables, dinner-party centrepieces, or seasonal displays

🛠️ How to Use
- For weddings: Store bags cool and dry until the day. Distribute to guests just before the ceremony. Encourage a generous toss — the petals photograph beautifully in motion
- For resin art: Arrange petals face-down on your mould, pour a thin base layer of resin, allow to cure, then complete the pour. Petals will appear beautifully suspended
- For candles and wax melts: Pour your wax, wait for the surface to just begin setting, then sprinkle petals on top. They'll set into the wax as it hardens
- For soap making: Add to melted soap base at moderate temperature; distribute evenly through moulds. Petals retain their colour beautifully in soap
- For card craft: Attach individual petals with PVA glue or clear-drying adhesive. Layer for a 3D effect
- For bath products: Mix into bath salt blends or press into bath bomb tops
- For decoration: Scatter or arrange as desired — petals are lightweight and don't stain fabrics
⚠️ Storage
Keep your petals in a cool, dark, dry place until you're ready to use them. Sunlight will fade the natural colours over time, and moisture will cause petals to stick or discolour. Stored well, colours remain vibrant for 12+ months.
🌿 100% Natural and Eco-Friendly
These petals are 100% real dried flowers — no dyes, no colourants, no chemical treatments, no plastic. They're completely biodegradable and compost naturally, making them venue-approved for churches, country houses, gardens, National Trust properties, and other spaces that don't accept traditional plastic or paper confetti. The colours you see are the flowers' own colours, preserved by careful low-temperature air-drying.
