About this variety

The Queeny zinnias are the ones florists ask for. Muted, antique colouring — lime green, blush, dusky coral, faded red — and many blooms shade from one to another across a single flower, so a bunch never looks flat.

They have become a fixture at late summer weddings for exactly that reason. The colours sit easily with almost anything and photograph far better than bright zinnias do.

Sow into modules, plant out after the frosts, and cut the first bloom early to make the plant branch. Keep picking through August and September and it will keep producing until the weather turns.
