About this variety
A sweet pea blend put together for scent first. 'Sweet Dreams' runs through soft pinks, lilacs, pale blues and creams, and while the individual flowers are handsome enough, the reason to grow it is what happens when you carry a bunch indoors.
Sweet peas want more than people expect. Deep, rich ground with plenty of compost dug in, something sturdy to climb, and water at the roots in dry spells. Get that right and a single row will crop for two months.
The one rule that matters: pick constantly. Every pod allowed to form tells the plant its work is done, and flowering slows within days. Cut more than you think you need and give the surplus away.
