Follow these tips to get the best crackle and burn time from your candle:

The First Burn: Light the wick across the whole width. Let it burn for 2-3 hours until the wax melts to the glass edges. This prevents "tunnelling" and ensures you use all the wax.

The "Pinch": Before re-lighting, the wick must be short (3-4mm). Wait for the candle to cool, then simply pinch off the black charred wood with your fingers. This keeps the flame clean and steady.
