While most dried stems shoot straight up, Achillea spreads out. These stunning bunches feature large, flat-topped flower heads (umbels) in a rich, warming shade of mustard-gold.
This horizontal shape is a florist's secret weapon. It acts as a "shelf" or a "bridge" in a bouquet, connecting vertical spikes with soft grasses. 🌿 About these Stems
These are the air-dried stems of Achillea filipendulina (often 'Cloth of Gold' or 'Parker's Variety').
The Texture: The tiny individual flowers are tightly packed into dense, flat heads that feel dry and firm to the touch. They are much sturdier than delicate flowers like daisies.

The flat shape of Yarrow offers unique styling opportunities:
- The "Shelf" Effect: In a mixed bouquet, position the Yarrow slightly lower than your tall grasses. It creates a visual "step" that leads the eye into the arrangement.

⚠️ Stem Fragility
While the flower heads are tough, the stems of dried Yarrow can be brittle and snap if bent. We recommend handling them by the base of the bunch and avoiding squeezing the stems too tightly.
