This fantastic hardy perennial (Monarda didyma) produces unique, shaggy clusters of tubular flowers in a vibrant mix of reds, pinks, and purples. Not only are they visually striking, but they are absolutely irresistible to bees and other pollinators, and the leaves have a lovely minty fragrance when crushed.

| Sow Seeds |
Sow seeds between January and April indoors using well-drained seed compost. Press the seeds lightly onto the surface without covering them. Can be slow to germinate, keep at around 18-21 degrees. |

Once the seedlings are big enough to handle, carefully transplant them into 7.5cm pots and let them grow until they’re nice and strong. Slowly introduce them to outdoor conditions before planting them out |
