The Larkspur Giant Imperial Mix is a hardy annual that is sure to become a favourite in the summer garden thanks to its spectacular display of blooms. Its tall, fluffy flower spikes come in an array of colours that will liven up the show! Create some beautiful bouquets of cut flowers to put in the vase. Caution is advised, as these seeds are poisonous. Do not ingest.

Sow Seeds These can be sown directly into the soil from September or April to May….or sown into seed trays/modules either in the autumn to plant out in the spring or in early spring to plant out in early summer. Cover the seeds very lightly with soil and keep them moist. It’s worth popping the seeds into the fridge for a week or so before sowing to aid germination. Seed germination approx can be slow.
Plant Out It’s a good idea to grow through netting to give support so that a strong wind doesn’t blow them flat.

I already have baby craspedia seedlings and can't wait to see them grow. I bought a couple of craspedia plants last year and they produce the most lovely yellow pom poms. They look great dotted in three's around the house and I also use them when I make dried wreaths.
