Sow Seeds	Sow (April–May) 4-6 weeks before the last frost (or can be sown in early autumn for flowers the following year) . It needs light to germinate, so cover only lightly. Germination can sometimes be tricky, so be patient! Transplant seedlings when they are large enough to handle and grow on. They are unlikely to flower in their first year
Plant Out	Acclimatise before planting out when all risk of frost has passed. Water established plants only when they are dry.
