February–April, sow in trays of moist seed compost. Keep the temperature between 20 and 25°C to ensure seeds germinate quickly. Once the seedlings appear, cover them lightly with a sprinkle of compost or vermiculite. |
| Plant Out | When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into bigger pots and grow on. Acclimatise over 2-3 weeks before planting out when all risk of frost has passed. |
