The Sweet Marjoram herb has a delicate taste and can be used in a wide variety of recipes, including stuffings, soups, stews, omelettes, cheese dishes, fish sauces, and salads. Sprinkle on pork, before roasting or add to melted butter to garnish veggies. Herbalists recommend this remedy for lowering excessive blood pressure, as well as for treating migraines and neuralgia. Plants of sweet marjoram are typically planted as annuals due to their aversion to the wet of winter and the fact that they are only half hardy.
