Dried Bunny Tails Bunch (Short)

Perfectly named, Bunny Tails (Lagurus ovatus) produce soft, velvety flower heads that feel just like the tail of a rabbit. This short-stemmed bunch is designed specifically for smaller spaces—think bedside tables, bookshelves, or desk corners that need a little softening.

Dried to a natural, warm cream shade, these grasses are the ultimate "cosy" decor. They don't shed everywhere like Pampas grass, making them mess-free and long-lasting. Simply pop them in a small bud vase or jam jar for an instant touch of boho charm.

🌿 About these Stems

These are the air-dried stems of Lagurus ovatus. They are harvested at the perfect moment to ensure the heads remain fluffy and intact.

The Texture: The heads are incredibly soft and tactile. The stems are thin and straw-like. Because they are a natural product, the size of the "tails" will vary slightly in each bunch.

🎨 Styling Ideas

These short stems are versatile and perfect for detail work:

  • The Bud Vase: They are the perfect height (approx 30cm) for small ceramic or glass bud vases. A cluster of 10-15 stems looks effortless and stylish.
  • Flat Lay Photography: Because of their texture, they are a favourite prop for Instagram styling or product photography.
  • Gift Wrapping: Tuck a single stem under the ribbon of a gift for a beautiful, natural finishing touch.

Perfect Dried Companions

Create a mini-meadow by mixing Bunny Tails with other small-scale dried flowers:

  • 💜 Dried Lavender: The Scented Duo. The creamy softness of Bunny Tails looks beautiful against the purple spikes of Lavender. It adds a lovely contrast of texture and colour.
  • 🌸 Dried Candytuft: The White Mix. The intricate, frothy flowers of Candytuft pair perfectly with the smooth heads of Bunny Tails for a delicate, all-white arrangement.

⚠️ Handle with Care
Although they don't shed like pampas, Bunny Tails are a natural product. Avoid squeezing the heads too hard or getting them wet, as this can spoil their fluffy texture.

🌿 Care & display tips
Keep your dried flowers out of direct sunlight and away from damp — both will fade and soften the stems over time. No water needed. Arrange loosely in a vase or tie with twine for a hanging display. Handle gently as dried stems can be brittle.
💐 Using in arrangements
Dried flowers work beautifully with other dried stems, pampas grass, and seed heads. If using in a wreath or floral foam, wire the stems first for extra security. For wedding work, we recommend ordering a little extra to allow for any breakage during handling.
📬 Delivery & packaging
Dried flowers are packed carefully in a rigid box to protect the stems in transit. Dispatched within 2–3 working days. All packaging is compostable or recyclable. Free delivery on orders over £30.
