Dried Allium Seed Heads

If you want to add instant structure, height, and drama to an arrangement, these Allium seed heads are the answer. We have harvested and dried the spectacular 'Purple Sensation' variety to preserve its incredible skeletal form.

These large, spherical "starburst" heads look like frozen fireworks. While they bore purple flowers in the garden, they dry to a beautiful, natural shade of pale straw-gold. They are incredibly durable and long-lasting, perfect for adding a rustic, architectural touch to winter vases or for spraying with metallic paint for festive displays.

The Minimalist Vase: Place 3-5 stems in a narrow-necked ceramic vase or glass bottle. The geometric shapes create a stunning, modern silhouette against a plain wall.
Christmas Sparkle: The skeletal seed heads take metallic spray paint beautifully. Spray them gold, silver, or copper for a festive table centrepiece that lasts for years.

🌾 Dried Feather Grass (Stipa): The Soft Contrast. The solid, hard shapes of Allium heads look incredible rising out of a cloud of soft, wispy Feather Grass.
🔵 Dried Echinops (Globe Thistle): The Geometric Duo. Both plants are spherical. Combining the blue spiky balls of Echinops with the open starbursts of Alliums creates a fascinating, sculptural display.
