Similar to French tarragon, but produces a plant that is hardier and more robust. The aromatic foliage of the Russian Tarragon plant, which is lance-shaped and develops branching stems, can be used to make tarragon vinegar, as an ingredient in white sauces and salad dressings, or as a complement to dishes made with chicken, fish, and eggs.
