Cobaea is a fast-growing and vigorous climber with dark green leaves and beautiful purple, bell-shaped flowers  This vine is easy to care for and can be used to create a gorgeous focal point in the garden  

Grow Cobaea against a strong trellis, fence or wall for it to scramble up and over 

It needs full sun and moist but well-drained soil so water regularly in dry weather.

Genus Cobaea scandens

Sow Seeds Sow undercover Jan-March vertically into pots or trays and keep at 16-18℃.  Germination can take 3-4 weeks so be patient!  Transplant into pots when large enough to handle and grow on.

Plant Out Plant out after the last frosts, likes full sun and well-drained, moist soil
