     Semi-hardy perennial herb with fragrant thick, green leaves and pinky-purple flowers. Oregano has a strong flavour and brings a sweetness and warmth to dishes. It can be used fresh or dried.

    Very attractive to bees and butterflies. 

    Plant Care Tips

    Sow seeds indoors late March-May 6-8 weeks before planting out
    Needs warmth to germinate
    Pot on to individual pots when large enough to handle
    Acclimatise before planting outside
    Keep harvesting the leaves to keep plants productive
    Protect with mulch over winter or pot up and bring indoors
