Gaura lindheimeri is commonly known as beeblossom, and it is truly magnificent. Beautiful, tall spires that have a multitude of small white (with a tinge of pink) flowers that move in the summer breeze like little fluttering butterflies

The flowers froth everywhere and turn the garden into a romantic haven and a bee paradise. They are wonderful plants for lining pathways in a cottage garden and make lovely cut flowers, either alone or as a filler in bouquets.

Gaura is a perennial that can flower in its first year. They love full sun, being prairie plants. Mulching well can help with severe winters.

    Gaura lindheimeri 'The Bride'

We have some of these plants in the garden already and love them. So I thought it was worth trying to grow them from seed so we can have “swaths” of them.
Seeds came on time and look healthy.
I have just sowed them and keeping fingers crossed

    Gaura seeds

I've had Gaura plants in the garden for about 3 years now but unfortunately they haven't survived this winter. That's why I ordered more Gaura "the bride" seeds that I'll be sowing very soon.
I was also tempted so buy Aster China Peony seeds that I've never tried before. Really looking forward to seeing them grow. My order arrived promptly and well packaged. Very pleased with the excellent service.
