How to Dry Your Flowers

It's easier than you think!

✂️ When to Cut:
For most flowers (like Strawflower and Statice), cut them when they are only half open. They will continue to open as they dry. If you cut them fully open, they may go to seed and fall apart.

🧶 How to Dry:
Strip off the leaves (they don't dry well). Tie the stems in small bunches with an elastic band (stems shrink as they dry, so string might slip off). Hang them upside down in a warm, dry, dark place (like an airing cupboard or shed). Darkness preserves the colour!
