The gorgeous Coreopsis Early Sunrise is a perennial flower that puts on a spectacular show with its blossoms of golden-yellow flowers. When planted in a flower bed or flower border, these blossoms, which are of the semi-double variety, present an extremely breathtaking sight. Because Coreopsis Early Sunrise can reach a height of 60 centimetres, these flowers are perfect for use in displays in containers or patio pots. As they tower over other flower species, they will provide a stunning complement to the flower displays you have.
Coreopsis are prized for the vibrant and long-lasting flowers that they produce. They are also relatively dependable and simple to cultivate.

Genus Coreopsis grandiflora
Sow Seeds Sow the seeds in a cold frame February-April using a high-quality seed starting compost. After sowing, lightly cover the seeds with vermiculite. Maintain a slightly damp but not wet condition in the soil. In order for it to germinate, it needs light.
Plant Out When the seedlings are of a size where they can be handled easily, they should be pricked out and placed in a nursery bed. Transplant the seedlings into their permanent homes during the months of September and early October to ensure blossoming the following year.

I already have baby craspedia seedlings and can't wait to see them grow. I bought a couple of craspedia plants last year and they produce the most lovely yellow pom poms. They look great dotted in three's around the house and I also use them when I make dried wreaths.
