A very popular, easy-to-grow herb with narrow leaves and beautiful, spherical pink flowers.
Use chives to flavour all sorts of dishes from salad to casserole, potatoes to soup.
Keep cutting and using the leaves to encourage more growth.
Plant Care Tips
Sow thinly, 0.5cm deep into pots/trays and cover lightly with fine compost
Keep moderately moist
Can be sown direct after all risk of frost has passed or throughout the year indoors on a sunny windowsill
No need to thin out unless the pot is very crowded
Germinate in 10-14 days
