Briza Maxima is also known as Quaking Grass and you can see why.
A beautiful upright plant with nodding heart shaped spikelets swaying gently in the breeze. The pale green of spikes dry to golden straw colour and it looks amazing added to an arrangement of flowers....bringing a country cottage, meadow vibe to any vase or bouquet.
Plant Care Tips
Sow undercover Feb/March into pots or trays
Or sow direct in spring or autumn into finely raked soil. Sprinkle the seeds over and lightly rake the soil to ensure the seed is just covered
