Fancy Purple Picotee produces the most gorgeous  double flowers creating a purple/blue (with a swirl of white) haze of elegance and beauty 

They can grow to 120cm in height which makes them a wonderful flower for cutting and displaying.  Cut when a third of the blooms are out on the stem and condition well for the longest vase life.

As they are so tall they are best planted in a more sheltered spot away from strong winds and staked well so that they don't flop over in heavy rain or wind

Sow Seeds Put the seeds in the fridge or freezer for one week prior to sowing.  Sow into modules filled with moist, well drained compost in mid September or early spring.  Lightly cover the seeds with compost and keep frost free while they germinate.

Plant Out Pot on as they grow before planting out in a sheltered spot in the spring
