    A beautiful flower with huge flowers that resemble daisies and blooms from the middle of summer through the autumn, it is ideal for use as a border in a rustic garden.

    They are stunning to look at, have a long flowering season, excellent vase life, and the pollinators absolutely love them. 🐝

    Genus Echinacea purpurea
    Sow Seeds

    Sow (April–May) 4-6 weeks before the last frost (or can be sown in early autumn for flowers the following year)

    . It needs light to germinate, so cover only lightly.  Germination can sometimes be tricky, so be patient!  Transplant seedlings when they are large enough to handle and grow on.  They are unlikely to flower in their first year 

    Plant Out Acclimatise before planting out when all risk of frost has passed.  Water established plants only when they are dry.
