Chrysanthemum Painted Daisies are the happiest, hippiest, chilled-out flowers in my garden!
An absolute riot of colours. Whites, pinks, reds, yellows, oranges, and more. Each one is tri-coloured and beautiful; they make me smile every time I walk past them.
I think they look best planted en masse. The more you can squeeze in, the better!
They make a good cut flower too, lasting well in a vase. Or just leave them chilling and flowering outside, and they will bring colour to the garden all summer long.

Sow from late winter to early summer (January–May) indoors or in a heated, uncovered space. Sow into fine seed compost, keep moist, and keep at 18–24 °C while they germinate. Germination can take between 5 and 20 days. Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler but not cold conditions |
