Bishy Barnabees Cottage Garden
Chives
Chive Seeds
No kitchen garden is complete without Chives! This incredibly easy-to-grow perennial herb provides a constant supply of slender, green leaves with a delicate onion flavour, perfect for snipping over eggs, salads, potatoes, and countless other dishes. In summer, they produce attractive, globe-shaped purple flowers which are also edible and loved by bees!
Chives can be used to add flavour to a wide variety of foods, from salad to casserole, potatoes to soup.
The easiest herb to grow! See our full Herb Seeds collection. Their flowers are great for bees too - part of our Seeds for Pollinators collection!
