    Description

    Attractive, flattened, purple topped roots with a white base. Quick maturing, in under 7 weeks from sowing, during the summer. Delicious and tender as 'baby roots' for salads and as a cooked vegetable. The leaves can be steamed as 'turnip top greens'. 

    Plant Care Tips

    Sow seeds thinly March to August 12mm deep and rows should be spaced 15cm apart 
    Water often in dry weather 
    Thin as required as they are fast-growing 
    Turnips can be harvested at any size during the growing season
