The Thunder Mountain Longhorn chilli comes from China and is an extremely rare kind. The plant is responsible for the growth of some of the longest chillies you'll ever come across, with some reaching a length of 35 centimetres. It has a heat level that falls somewhere in the middle and would be a fantastic addition to any dish. It has a thin skin that makes it easier to lose water through evaporation.
The pods change colour from green to red, grow to be around 35 centimetres long, and some of them twist up into a spiral shape. This is a rare plant, and it definitely has the "wow factor."

The Mountains of Leigongshan, also known as the "Mountain of Thunder," are the place of origin for pepper. This region is located southwest of Guizhou in China. This region around Thunder Mountain is known for producing some incredible chillies, one of which is called the Thunder Mountain Longhorn Chilli. The chillies are traditionally sun-dried and then placed in a hot house that is fired with charcoal, which gives them a great flavour that is smoky and sun-dried at the same time.
