A bushy perennial plant with highly scented leaves. Use the leaves to flavour poultry dishes, salads, salad dressings and fish amongst many others.
Tarragon has a warm, peppery scent and a mild flavour.
Plant Care Tips
Sow indoors and keep at 15-20 degrees
Do not cover the seed as light aids germination
Germination takes 14-21 days
Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle
Acclimatise before planting out after all risk of frost has passed
Needs a sunny, sheltered spot
