A gorgeous, ribbed, muffin top squash with blue/grey/green coloured skin and stunning orange flesh within….such a beautiful colour contrast.
It has a wonderfully sweet, rich flavour and is so versatile….use it in soups, stews, curries or roasted or mashed. You can even roast up the seeds for a fabulous snack.
Plant Care Tips
Sow the seeds vertically, 1cm deep into potsWhen the seedlings have 2-3 leaves, transplant them to larger pots and grow on
Acclimatise before planting out once all risk of frost has gone

I already have baby craspedia seedlings and can't wait to see them grow. I bought a couple of craspedia plants last year and they produce the most lovely yellow pom poms. They look great dotted in three's around the house and I also use them when I make dried wreaths.
