Fast-growing and matures in just 60 days from transplanting. Use the flowering stems and buds in salads or stir-fries. The larger stems need to be peeled before cooking.
- Sow seeds outdoors from late spring to early autumn.
- Sow thinly direct into a well-prepared site in rows 30cm apart, just covering and keep moist.
- Thin seedlings as they grow to 5cm apart
- When the seedlings are 15cm tall, transplant to the final growing site, spacing 25cm apart between plants.
