Growing Info

To maximise yields, sow Cayenne Red Chilli seeds during the late winter to early spring months, in brightly lit areas with some protection from the elements. These bushy plants, topping out at between 60-100cm, are attractive additions to conservatories or outdoor pots and reach maturity after approximately 70 days. The 'Cayenne' variety has several options, including Buena Mulata (Purple Cayenne), Long Slim, Golden Cayenne, Long Purple and Cayennetta, and they typically bear abundant fruit. Loaded with spiciness and vitamin C, these chilli peppers are great for adding flavour and a touch of heat to any dish. With so many options to choose from, there's something for everyone.
