Pack contains: 50 seeds
Increasingly popular vegetable for early summer to autumn harvesting. Once the central head has been cut, there are plenty of tender sideshoots over several weeks if cut regularly.
- Sow thinly in a well-prepared seedbed from April to June at a depth of 13mm in rows 30cm apart.
- Alternatively, sow in pots or a seed tray of good seed compost and cover with 6mm of compost or vermiculite.
- Thin seedlings to 10cm apart when large enough to handle.
- Transplant to their final positions around 5 weeks later when seedlings have four or five leaves.
