I get quite nostalgic about foxgloves. They remind me of the beautiful Beatrix Potter illustrations in those small blue books which would be read to me and my sisters at bedtime when we were children. I cant imagine a cottage garden without them.
Foxgloves are tall, they can grow up to 6 feet and they like light shade to grow in.
Sow seed in trays in June, pot on as they grow and then plant out in September to flower the following spring.
