Type Biennial

Genus Viola cornuta

Sow Seeds Will flower the same year from early sowing (6-8 weeks prior to the last frost) or will happily overwinter in a sheltered spot from later sowing (June-July).  Sow into a seed tray, keep moist and out of the light until germination (10-20 days)

Plant Out Gradually acclimatise (after all frosts have passed) before planting outside
